To allocate and assign an Elastic IP address


Step #1 :

 From the Amazon EC2 console, 

     1) Click Elastic IPs in the navigation pane.
     2) Choose Allocate New Address.


Allocate New Address - dialog box would appear.

 

 By clicking on Yes, Allocate. 

       a) We are creating an Elastic IP. 
       b) Now, the next step is to assign Instance with Associate Address
       c) Click on Actions 


       d) Drop-down would appear, where select Associate Address new dialog box would appear

In the dialog box, 

 

choose Instance from the Associate with list, and then select your instance from the Instance list. Choose Yes, Associate when you're done.
